Colloque REPARTI Workshop

The workshop will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will focus on an interactive approach with the students and professors of each of the research groups within REPARTI. Each person responsible for a lab will provide a brief description of the lab's research activities. Students will be encouraged to introduce themselves and talk about their individual research projects.  The presentations have been grouped according to the 3 research themes of REPARTI.  Please consult the included program for full details.

The morning presentations will be followed by lunch at 1 p.m. at the McGill Faculty Club. Following lunch, several of the labs at CIM will be open for tours and demos.  A wrap-up in CIM Zames Room MC437 will take place at about 4 p.m.

Colloquium on Distributed Intelligent Systems

The colloquium will allow researchers from different fields to meet to discuss the real challenges involved in distributed intelligent shared environments and their concrete application to different sectors such as security, arts and public health. The objectives of the colloquium are to present the state of the art of the research area of intelligent environments, to encourage interactions between the participants and to create the necessary synergy for the establishment of joint projects. An important element of the colloquium involves the direct implication of student researchers in the discussions and presentations which will be given. The colloquium will be held during one complete day and will include a 3-hour session in the morning and a 3-hour session in the afternoon. A poster session will be held throughout the day with the presence of the poster authors required during the coffee breaks and the lunch break.
